From the Executive Director - August 2022Have you noticed *Noted? *Noted: The Greeting Card Expo was launched in 2019, created by members for members seeking a community-driven event where greeting cards could take center stage. *Noted has quickly become the place where cardmakers and buyers connect and do business. Building on that synergy, GCA has been expanding opportunities for members by expanding the *Noted concept. This summer, you may have noticed satellite *Noted display spaces at the Atlanta Market, Las Vegas Market, and next week at NY NOW. Based on member feedback, we will continue to seek out partnerships that allow members to get into these important industry shows with move-in-ready exhibit spaces at a reduced cost. Continuing the *Noted momentum, GCA is taking the concept virtual with a two-day buying event September 14 & 15, 2022. *Noted@GCA Marketplace will allow members who have set up their free GCA Marketplace storefront the opportunity to sell directly to over 600+ buyers who currently shop the Marketplace. And, we’ll be inviting all of the buyers who registered for *Noted co-located with SF NOW this past spring, offering specials, prizes, and giveaways to those who place orders. As a community-focused event, *Noted relies on the strong GCA community to participate, promote, and help make it a success. *Noted@GCA Marketplace is one way GCA can help members build value, and participating is one way members can show buyers the value of *Noted. The next in-person *Noted co-located with SF NOW takes place April 27&28, 2023 and 2022 exhibitors can reserve their space before September 30th to lock in last year's pricing here. I hope you’ll plan now to join us in San Francisco, but in the meantime I hope you’ll help GCA spread the word about *Noted by taking part in *Noted@GCA Marketplace, offering a show special, or just signing up to sell through the GCA Marketplace if you haven’t already. The Marketplace is free to join, available exclusively to GCA Members, and you can promote your presence using the GCA Marketplace Marketing Toolkit. Nora Weiser
