Member Spotlight - Add Pink and Stir

Tell us about your company and/or your products.

Add Pink and Stir is a Letterpress Printed Paper Goods brand that focuses on reminding folks to Get Loud, Magnify Moments and Leave an Impression. Add Pink and Stir currently offers Greeting Cards, Notebooks, Note Cards, and Stickers, with lots more in store for 2024.

I (LeeAnn) started this brand with a cute name, no structure, and no direction in late 2018. Luckily for me and my bills, in early 2020 I realized that my love of stationery and my new-to-me press Missy and I could really make an impact in a bold, colorful, and fun way. Since then, SKUs have grown, more equipment has led to a studio space outside of my home and the messages and images have gotten louder, brighter, and even more memorable.

What’s your role at your company?

I do everything! As a very small business, this is a necessity but I’m primed and ready to get some additional support onboard.

Why did you become a GCA member and tell us about your GCA experience so far.

I virtually met a wonderful GCA member in another professional community and they had great things to say about the GCA and gently encouraged me to join. It took me a while but I eventually joined “earlyish” in 2022  and I haven’t regretted it since. I have learned a lot and met some wonderful folks.  The proximity and access to folks that are at various levels of success in the industry and actively participating in committees have had a significant impact on my industry knowledge, confidence, and in turn, my business.

What inspired you to get involved in the greeting card industry?

As a Graphic Designer turned Printmaker I LOVE Letterpress Printing. Greeting Cards seemed like a great way to share that love and my designs with a wider audience and make an impact outside of my immediate circle.

What's something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?

I love to dance and I’ve been posting dance videos for the last few years on my personal social media channels. They’re all public so feel free to follow along. Disclaimer: I’m not a good dancer but I think the videos are fun to watch.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I’m looking forward to the future, evolution, and success of the Add Pink and Stir Brand in the Greeting Card Industry and continuing to participate in the GCA Community.
